We leverage deep relationships with bipartisan coalitions and legal experts to protect against federal and state interference in elections.
Alongside bipartisan coalitions and subject-matter experts, we also litigate voter intimidation cases, advocate for transparent vote counting, and defend the certification process.
- We represent the largest Latino civil rights group (LULAC) in cases combating voter suppression:
- On the federal level, we challenged provisions of a White House executive order that would suppress the rights of eligible voters. In Florida, we are defending the rights of individuals to lead ballot initiatives to amend their state constitution.
- We protected two critical state Supreme Court races in support of pro-democracy candidates:
- We helped lead a successful bipartisan campaign that stopped North Carolina Supreme Court candidate Jefferson Griffin’s attempt to flip the result of a fair election won by Allison Riggs.
- We exposed the corruption underlying Elon Musk’s efforts to influence the Wisconsin Supreme Court race through illegal payments, ensuring a free and fair election.
