Corruption thrives in the shadows. Through FOIA requests, public records investigations, and litigation, we demand the government transparency the American public deserves.
Our litigation against DOGE and Elon Musk contributed to his departure and the department’s closure; we secured an injunction blocking OPM’s disclosure of personal data to DOGE and obtained a preliminary injunction and class certification to remedy the USAID shutdown; we filed numerous FOIA requests and lawsuits to force release of Trump-Epstein files; we exposed Trump’s acceptance of a Qatari jet, and called for an investigation into Apple’s CEO over a potentially illegal gold gift; and we conducted a deep dive into the Trump-DOJ partisan slush fund.
During the 2025 government shutdown, we called on the U.S. Department of Agriculture to release billions of dollars in funding for SNAP benefits.
